(Parker, Ariz.) On April 26th the Colorado River Indian Tribes will be taking a critical step to implement the Colorado River Indian Tribes Water Resiliency Act of 2022.  At a signing ceremony on the CRIT reservation, tribal leaders will be joined by U.S. Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, U.S. Senator Mark Kelly, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, Director of Arizona Water Resources Tom Buschatzke, and officials from the Department of the Interior to execute agreements that will move CRIT one step closer to strengthening its sovereignty over its water resources to improve the lives of future generations of CRIT members while protecting the life of the river. 
 
The ceremony is scheduled for April 26 at 10am at the BlueWater Resort located on the CRIT reservation. Additional details of the ceremony will be released as soon as they are available.
