Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge will be offering a Scorpion Search twice this summer. The first will be July 5 at 8pm. The second will be August 9 at 7:30PM. Space is limited for these free events. Both events are free and open to the public, but registration is required. Please see below for further details. I have attached flyer in case you would like to make them available at your visitor center.
First Date What: Scorpion Search Ranger Talk and Night Hike Where: Bill Williams River NWR Visitor Center When: Friday, July 5 at 8pm Why: Participants will learn about scorpions and their amazing adaptations then take a night hike to search for these iconic desert creatures. Registration is required. Space is limited. Participants should wear closed toed shoes, bring water, and be prepared to walk about one mile on a dirt trail in the dark.

Directions From Lake Havasu City: Travel approximately 17 miles south on Hwy 95 until you cross the Bill Williams River bridge. Continue for ½ mile and turn right into the visitor center parking area near mile marker 161.
Directions from Parker: Travel north 18 miles to marker 161 and turn toward the lake.
